so we just got to the college and the competition began. all the photographers went their own ways. i went through the library buiilding and saw this dark hallway. it looked pretty cool with the dimmed lights overhead so i decided to chase down the woman to get the shot. would've did the zoom effect on the camera, but the camera is retarded. still waiting for the digital rebel xt. that's about it.

I LOVE the dof. The sense of movement it creates really focuses your eye on the person.

Hmm, that blurring looks like photoshop, yet wouldn't that mean it would go under the whole photomanipulation/digital art section?
Still, I love the excelent shot.

thanks! i used a zoom effect in photoshop. used the radial blur for the area around the person. you can also lower your shutter speed when taking the picture and zoom in when the shutter is open.
